To many listeners and music connoisseurs, the name Maria Muldaur is synonymous with her gold hit "Midnight at the Oasis", which climbed to the top of the charts and became one of the best selling singles ever.

The camels may have long gone to bed, but not so Maria Muldaur. Over the years her voice has matured into a finely tuned instrument evoking every shade of emotion from fervent spirituality to uncompromising passion. With more than a dozen critically acclaimed albums to her credit, she is internationally renowned as a "singer's singer".

Legendary vocalist Maria Muldaur is one of the most influential and compelling artists in modern music. She possesses a commanding talent in a dizzying variety of styles from blues, folk, gospel and jazz. Since her hit song, "Midnight At The Oasis", she has developed into one of the finest blues and jazz vocalists performing today and has remained an enduring and popular singer for over 30 years.

Her interpretations of classic and early songs are vital and timeless. She traverses the territory from jazz to bluegrass, from southern gospel to Smoky Mountain hollers, Tin Pan Alley to Chicago blues club with passion, finesse and authority.
