SOLD OUT!

Vintage Guitar Magazine says of Lloyd Jones:

" ..gritty as a dirt road and smooth as melting butter.
Jones sings like Delbert McClinton's long-lost brother,
plays guitar like Robert Cray unleashed, and his band cooks.
There is no let up, so if they pass through your way, catch 'em!"

For more than 30 years now, Lloyd Jones has consistently been among the top names on the Portland music scene. He has won every Northwest blues award including best guitarist, vocalist, R&B; act, contemporary blues band, best traditional blues artist and best blues recording! Jones describes his soulful and intelligent fusion of funk, blues, and R&B as "storytelling with a Memphis groove." Lloyd is one of the most original performing, recording and song writing talents on the modern day blues scene, with Robert Cray and Bonnie Raitt among his biggest supporters.

Lloyd Jones has performed with:

Roy Orbison, Bonnie Raitt, Delbert McClinton, Robert Cray,
Etta James, Chuck Berry, Charlie Musselwhite,
Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmie Vaughan,
Taj Mahal, BB King, John Hammond, Dr. John,
James Cotton, Earl King, Jr Wells, Buddy Guy
, and the list goes on...

"...an impeccable sense of time and a killer instinct on guitar,
Lloyd swings and wails..."
- Jazz Times

Jones and his band have become a mainstay on the West Coast circuit and at the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival. Particularly loved by Delbert McClinton, they have brought their tasteful, crowd-pleasing brand of music from New Orleans to Canada and to the Caribbean, where McClinton remarked, "When I heard Lloyd Jones live for the first time, it was like exhaling after holding my breath for fifteen years." Lloyd has performed on board McClinton's famous Blues Cruise as well as being his chosen guitar player at other events.
